How is this different from the Geologie Sensitive Face Wash?
They have different purposes. The Sensitive Face Wash is a very gentle, basic cleanser designed to clean the skin with minimal risk of irritation. This Acne Control Face Wash is a treatment product. It contains a 2% concentration of salicylic acid, an active ingredient specifically included to treat and prevent acne.

Will this dry out my skin?
Because salicylic acid is an exfoliant, it can cause some dryness, particularly when you first start using it. Geologie includes hydrating ingredients like glycerin to help offset this. The best way to prevent dryness is to start by using it once a day and to always follow up with a good moisturizer.

Can I use this if I don't have acne but just get oily?
Yes. Salicylic acid is excellent for controlling oil and keeping pores clear, which can help prevent future breakouts even if you don't have them now. If you find it too strong for twice-daily use, you could use it a few times a week to help manage oiliness.
